In honour of The Garden Cinema’s upcoming second birthday, everyone’s invited to join in on the celebrations on Saturday 23 March. After our Pay What You Can family screening of Ethel & Ernest, the whole day will be filled with films proposed by members, ranging from an absurd escape to the country in Godard’s Weekend, to a tragic Gena Rowlands (but what a performance!) in A Woman Under the Influence, and mimes playing tennis in Blow-Up, to the terrible, panic inducing anxiety of time-keeping in Run Lola Run. To add to the festivities, tickets to all screenings throughout the day will be just £5 each for members and their +1.
In the evening, we’ll be hosting a members-only birthday party, complete with celebratory drinks, colourful decorations, and a prize raffle featuring a bounty of birthday presents. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Garden Cinema party without a classic feature: we’ll be making a splash to mark the cinema’s third year with none other than Singin’ in the Rain.
Book your seats now, and don’t forget to log into your membership account to access £5 tickets!
Please note, booking to all daytime screenings is restricted to members only until Thursday 7 March, 18:00. Booking for the members’ party in the evening will open Thursday 7 March at 13:00.
