The Comic Strip Presents was the nucleus of three comedy duos: The Outer Limits, featuring Peter Richardson and Nigel Planer; Twentieth Century Coyote, featuring Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson; and French & Saunders (Dawn & Jennifer) plus Alexei Sayle, who often hosted alongside Keith Allen and Robbie Coltrane. The team would go on to make 42 individual films under the banner of ‘The Comic Strip Presents’ (1982 till 2016) with Founder and Series Producer Peter Richardson. Several brand new Comic Strip films are in development.

Sunday 12 Jan: A double bill of brand new cuts of two ‘Comic Strip Presents’ classics: A Fistful of Traveller’s Cheques, a homage to Clint Eastwood’s and Sergio Leone’s classic ‘Spaghetti Westerns’ and The Supergrass. The latter is being shown here in the West End for the first time in 40 years. Writer-Director Peter Richardson and Alexei Sayle will be joining us for a Q&A hosted by Robin Ince.

Sunday 19 Jan: A triple bill of three rarely screened ‘Comic Strip Presents’ films: Red Top, Four Men In A Car and The Hunt for Tony Blair. Writer-Director Peter Richardson will be in conversation with another VIP guest (name to be announced soon.)
