London Film Week presents a preview screening of Close.
The intense friendship between two thirteen-year old boys, Leo and Remi, suddenly gets disrupted. Struggling to understand what has happened, Leo approaches Sophie, Remi’s mother. Close is a film about friendship and responsibility.
Lukas Dhont’s feature debut Girl, depicting a transgender girl who dreams of becoming a ballerina, won the Cannes Camera d’Or and the Queer Palm in 2018, while Close scooped the Grand Prix at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
