Indy Film Library presents: UK Short Film Showcase
Based in the Netherlands and the UK, Indy Film Library (IFL) grew out of the need of independent filmmakers to receive impartial feedback on their work. Since 2019, IFL has provided a hybrid service to artists who submit their work. Unlike a traditional film festival, IFL assesses every single film received. Meanwhile, it also hosts an annual screening selection of the very best films it receives.
Due to the pandemic, however, these events have only taken place in Amsterdam so far. Now, for the first time, IFL is bringing a showcase of UK-based filmmakers to a cinema in London.
IFL's UK Short Film Showcase invites audiences in the UK to discover a world of independent art on their own doorstep. With screenings of films across the cinematic spectrum, and Q&As with the artists behind them, the event offers viewers an introduction to a series of diverse and innovative films, showing life in the UK in a whole new light.
