Our screening on 1 September is the latest in our discussion series, In the Works, hosted by Oscar nominated composer Gary Yershon. Gary's guest is the  Academy Award winning sound editor, Nina Hartstone.  Aside from Moonage Daydream, Nina's credits include Everest, Saltburn, and her Oscar winning work on Bohemian Rhapsody.


Moonage Daydream: a cinematic odyssey exploring David Bowie's creative, spiritual and musical journey. From the visionary mind of Brett Morgen, Moonage Daydream features captivating, never-before-seen footage and performances spanning Bowie's 54-year career. The film includes 40 exclusively remastered Bowie songs and is the first film ever sanctioned by the Bowie Estate, with local access to the artists' archives.

  • I can’t add more than what Peter Bradshaw says, other than that a new word – “Bowieness” – should be coined to mean “intoxicating embracing of life’s card game and everything else”. Beautiful, beautiful tribute.
