Live stand-up comedy meets cinema with Funny On Film. UK's hottest comics perform before comedy classics!
Join us on November 25th for a night of cutting edge comedy. We're screening Mike Judge's satire of the modern workplace Office Space!
The night will be compered by Dan Fardell (BBC Radio 4 Extra, “One of the best joke writers I’ve seen in ages” Romesh Ranganathan), and due to a conflict in Bobby Mair's schedule, we will now be honoured with a live performance from the one and only Celya AB!
Celya recently supported Mr Show's David Cross and has appeared on Comedy Central. She's the winner of both the Birmingham Comedy Festival's Breaking Talent Award, and Chortle's Best Newcomer Award. This French-Brummie stand up is unique, sharp and totally belly-laugh hilarious!
"She’s a superb contriver of pithy, memorable lines that either elucidate a truth about Britishness, have a more universal application to xenophobia or sexism, or are just simply daft for the sake of being daft." The Scotsman
Mike Judge's Office Space is a comic cry of rage against the nightmare of modern office life. It is about work that crushes the spirit. It's an American cult comedy classic that has gone on to influence pop culture, work culture, and spawned a thousand memes. Don't miss this chance to see it on the big screen, accompanied by some of UK's finest stand up talent!
