Queer East Festival presents Shorts: In Between Seasons.
Spring, summer, autumn and winter: each new season marks a beginning, an act of trans-formation, signalling the everchanging fluidity of nature. In this programme, whether trapped in psychological minds or physical bodies, each protagonist discovers a way to escape from reality, and embark on a personal journey of finding the past or envisioning the future. These films centre on the theme of metamorphosis, piecing together a multifaceted recollection of queer memories and futures. Programmed and presented in partnership with CinemAsia Film Festival, Amsterdam.
